Download Mentoroid.

Choose your platform and install the Dota 2 beta. The coaching engine downloads automatically when you first run the app.

Getting set up

Pick your platform below for installation notes. If you get stuck, ask us on Discord.

Windows

Open MentoroidSetup.exe and follow the installer.

If Windows SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC”, check that you downloaded the installer from Mentoroid before proceeding. To continue, choose More info and Run anyway.

macOS

Open Mentoroid.dmg and drag Mentoroid into Applications.

If macOS blocks the first launch, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and look for Open Anyway after trying to launch the app.

Linux

Use an x86_64 desktop with an X11 session. Mark the AppImage as executable, then open it:

chmod +x Mentoroid-x86_64.AppImage

Run it in your normal desktop session, rather than inside a container or toolbox, so it can detect and launch Dota 2.
